LIfe cont....
I dont know if im going to be able to finish P90x on schedule, I missed 1 week due to injuring a muscle, then I came back for 1 day then missed 4 days because I have had the most horrible tension headache. I wanted to finish before my anniversary vacation which is july 18th, but I have now missed 3 weeks due to illness/injury. Now I can either put the past weeks aside and continue at 110% or I can start over and I would have to do my exercises through my anniversasry vacation. I don't what to do...I want to continue and see what my final stats are, but at the same time I could get a better phase 1 workout now that I have actual weights to use...help me decide!

Rarely, does anything goes as scheduled. You are the only one that knows your body best, and it is best you go with what you feel is right. You definitely don't want to make the injury worse or even do anything that would put stress on your injury. I would suggest altering the schedule to best fit your needs. Take out anything that would put stress on the injured muscle and continue strong with the others. I would add a long stretching component for the injured muscle, lots of sleep, healthy eating, vitamins, etc. Light exercise and stretching during your vacation would help you continue stronger (allowing for rest) after you get back. It is never good to stop completely, as it can have negative results. P90x or any other exercise/diet routine is never meant to be followed completely. You must allow it to adapt to your individual body. Don't be discouraged. You will never fail if you never give up! I hope you and Karissa enjoy your anniversary vacation together. You both deserve a nice relaxing vacation!
