Jan 29 and Jan 30

Ok so exercising is tough I try to stay up with it but im on my own with this and I dont know what to do...my body is getting tired from doing it so its hard...I notice that my stomach is getting firm but I still have the layers of fat over it...I dont know what I can do to get rid of that fat, doing the crunches is just going to make the stomach more firm but it wont get rid of the fat over the muscles...IDK I guess Ill surf the web to see what I can find.

Jan 28

Man I did not do good yesterday at all, I went to Chili's for lunch which calories wise I probably shouldnt have done.  I did enjoy going to lunch with my wife but it cost me.  My lunch was over 2000 calories which is just shy of the 2100 that I have set for my daily intake.  I counted my calories again, which I ended up getting close to 4000 which wouldnt have been so bad but all the excersise that I did was my 300 crunches.  I told myself that today I would be extra good and get alot of exercise done today.  Wish me luck

All I did was my calorie count and 300 crunches....I need to get back into doing more exercises!!

Jan 26

Did my 300 crunches, but that was it didnt do any other workouts....I did however count my calories yesterday and I was able to keep it about 2000.  Calorie counting has become very easy, now I just need to find some exercises that I enjoy doing, and also find some time to do them.

Jan 25

I did  300 crunches, weighed myself and I have lost some weight YAY!! I am now 178....just 13 lbs away from my goal...I have until APRIL 12 to get there so we will see....Im not going to do the dancing exercises right now because I am burned out on listening to the same songs everyday.  So I am going to do exercises on wii fit, and maybe more on my biggest loser game.  This is hard to do when you have little to no support, hopefully that will change, I know by getting my health back in line I will feel better so thats enough support for me.  Well wish me luck as I continue to attempt to get to 165 and get rid of my stomach fat.

Jan 24

Ok so today I was a little better than NFL SUNDAY.  I did 200 crunches and did dance exercises for 30 mins.  I think im going to have to switch out the dancing for something else because doing dancing 5 days a week I have kind of burned myself out of listening to the songs that it provided.  I think Im going to do a little more work with wii fit or biggest loser workout we will see..until tomorrow

Jan 23 NFL Playoffs

Ok I was horrible, didnt do any exercises, no crunches, didnt do any calorie count, nothing, hopefully it doesnt hurt want im going for.  I think if I had someone to go on my journey with me it would make it easier for me to work on it.  Unfortunately I dont, so i have to make this journey on my own.

Jan 22

Yesterday I kept track of my calories did great, I also did 40 minutes of full body workout then 40 minutes of my dance workout.  I only did about 150 crunches though.  With football being today I have not been good but maybe that will change......

Jan 21- Temptations!

I just realized that keeping my calories in check is going to be harder then I thought.  Yesterday I went to Wal Mart to return a few things and then on my way back home Karissa wanted donuts for breakfast so I went and got them.  Of course seeing my favorite donuts there I ended up getting 2 because I love the taste of them so much.  Well having those donuts ended up making me go 400 calories over what I was suppose to be for the day.  Well I learned that if im going to get to the weight that I want Im not going to be able to eat what I want when I want.  I did keep up on my days exercises though, 300 crunches and 40 minutes of Just Dance 2, well today I have more exercises to do, I havent noticed any results yet but hopefully the next time that I weight in I notice a change....

Jan 20

Day 2: I went on wii fit to get my "starting weight" and it is 181.  I need to lose 16 lbs.  I set up my Biggest Loser wii game so that I can keep track of my daily calorie intake as well as do workouts and challenges.  I also spent 40 mins doing Just Sweat on JUST DANCE 2.  I also did 450 crunches today.  I just need to make sure that I keep up with this because this is just the beginning.

Jan 19

All that I was able to do yesterday was 300 crunches.  I know by just doing crunches I wont lose all the weight that I am trying to so in the days to come I will do more.

Starts 1-19-2011

A few years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy and that has changed my life.  Every day I have to take medication to ensure that I do not have any seizures.  OK so before I get the the details of my challenge I'll give you some info about myself.  I am 5'11" and before I was diagnosed with epilepsy I weighed 150 and it was very easy for me to control my weight, the only down side is I was able to eat what ever I wanted when ever I wanted.  So I know some people would think what are you complaining about, I cant lie I use to love it, but I was not heathly at all and since my diagnosis I have gained 35 pounds and I cant seem to stop.  I have made a few changes that seem to have slowed down my weight gain but I still keep gaining weight. As of 1/19 I am going to do what ever I can for the next 12 weeks to see if I can change my life around.  I will post picture updates once a week showing the progress that I make.  My dad even told me that if I can make my goal he will take me out to dinner to celebrate.  I will also post what exercising I was able to do daily so at the end I can see what I did.  Wish me luck on my journey!
